dc.description.abstractMango-peel waste from fruit processing industries was used for biogas generation. Anaerobic digester was initially stabilized with cow dung for a week, then fed with different proportions of mango-peel and cow dung/rabbit dropping at 6% solid concentration. Yield of gas were 0.21% & 0.17%m3/kg VS added, having methane content of 51 and 49 per cents respectively without any re-charge/restarting the digesters for a long term.en_US
