dc.description.abstractSolution equilibrium studies on the complex formation of bivalent Mg, Co, M, Zn, Cd, Hg and Cu with the Schiff base derived from condensation of 4-hydrozinobenzofuro[3,2-d]pyrimidine with 5-methylsalicylaldehyde by pH-titration technique at 30 +/- 1degrees at a constant ionic strength, 0.1 M (NaClO4) in 70 : 30% (v/v) alcohol-water medium, indicate the order : Cu > Co > Ni > Zn > Hg > Cd > Mg of stability constants of the complexes.en_US
