Synthesis of Bis 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, Bis-1,3,4-thiadiazoles, Bis-1,2,4-triazoles, Bis N-Amino 1,2,4-triazoles and their biological activity

Abstract

Thiosemicarbazides (2a-e) were obtained on treatment of 1 various isothiocyanates in ethanol, Bis 1,3,4-oxadiazoles (3a-b), Bis 1,3,4-thiadiazoles (4a-c), Bis-1,2,4-triazoles (5a-e) and Bis N-amino 1,2,4-triazoles (6a-c) were obtained on treatment of 2 with Kl/l2, anhyd H3PO4,4% NaOH and 99% hydrazine respectively.
