dc.description.abstract | Sebacic acid dithiocarbamides (la-e) were obtained by the reaction of ammonium thiocyanate with sebacoyl chloride. Further, compounds la-e on reaction with mono chloroacetic acid and sodium acetate afforded the compounds lla-e which on condensation with various aryl aldehydes yielded llla-y, cyclocondensation of llla-y with thioureas afforded compounds IVa-y. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been verified by elemental analysis, IR, & NMR spectral data. | en_US |
