dc.description.abstract | An analysis has been carried out to study the steady MHD flow and heat transfer in a visco-elastic fluid flow over a semi-infinite, impermeable, non-isothermal stretching sheet with internal heat generation/absorption by the presence of radiation. Thermal conductivity is assumed to vary linearly with temperature. The governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by a similarity transformation. These equations are solved both by analytical method and by numerical method. The results are then compared and found to be in good agreement. The temperature profiles are shown graphically for different physical parameters. © 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. | en_US |
