Abstract: Handloom industry is one of the largest cottage industries in India. It plays an important role in the Indian economy by providing direct and indirect employment to millions of people. Since it is the largest economic activity after agriculture, it assumes importance in the country's economic development. The present study is under-taken with the following specific objectives : i) To present the organisation structure of Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation Limited ii) To make performance evaluation of Karnataka Handloom Development of Corporation Limited. iii) To propose suitable suggestions in the light of the findings of the study.
