| Abstract: | Reaction of 2-arylideneacetylbenzofurans 2-7 with hydrazine hydrate and Phenylhydrazine in abs ethanol gave 1 H/phenyl-pyrazolines 8-19. The structures of products were confirmed by analytical and spectral data. These compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity and some selected compounds were also screened for analgesic activity. |
