| Abstract: | An inexpensive and versatile kind of experiment is presented to demonstrate the enzyme immobilization. The reagents being used are safe for use in the food industry. This experiment provides a good introduction to immobilization for undergraduate and graduate students of biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering and food technology. This experiment is primarily done to teach the basic concept of enzyme immobilization that will be used for industrial purposes. |
