Of which Chlorophyceae appeared as dominant group followed by Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae and Bacillariophyceae. The abundance of Cyanophyceae ranged up to 3500 O/I, Chlorophyceae from 20 to 1780 O/I, Euglenophyceae up to 5160 O/I and Bacillariophyceae up to 9600 O/I were recorded. Bacillariophyceae has appeared as dominant in most of the season and Cyanophyceae remained least in the water body. Copyright Enviromedia. |
