An analysis has been carried out to study the unsteady, two-dimensional MHD boundary layer flow of a viscous incompressible and electrically conducting visco-elastic fluid under the influence of transverse magnetic field over a linearly stretching sheet. The surface absorbs the fluid with a porous medium and the velocity oscillator depending on the stretching rate and the distance. Analytical solutions are obtained for velocity and coefficient of skin friction using Perturbation technique and then by Taylor series method. Emphasis has been lead to study the effects of non-dimensional parameters on various flow characteristics.en_US
