dc.description.abstract | The investigations on stacked compact ring coupled rectangular microstrip antenna which are able to generate multiple resonant frequencies in the wireless communication bands, are reported. In these antennas by embedding various shapes of slots the size reduction is obtained. Also, the stacking on the ring-coupled patch has been made to achieve wide bandwidth. The multifrequency nature of the stacked slotted patch is studied using IE3D software. The proposed antennas exhibits broadside radiation pattern. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. | en_US |
