Abstract: | The objective of this study is to analyze the boundary layer flow and heat transfer of nanofluid over a stretching sheet in a suspended carbon nanotube. Cattaneo christov heat flux model is used to explore the characteristics of flow and heat transfer of MHD carbon nanofluids due to stretching sheet. The governing equations are nonlinear partial differential equations. Hence, a similarity transformation is employed to achieve non-linear ordinary differential equations. Solution of governing equations is obtained using BVP solver in MAPLE. A converged sequence of solutions of momentum and heat transfer equations is obtained. Nature of various governing parameters on the velocity and temperature distributions are analyzed and discussed. Our results are in good agreement with earlier published results for some limiting cases. © 2019 by American Scientific Publishers. |
