| Abstract: | Oscillations in the Belousov-Zhabotinskii system are observed using acetone alone as the organic substrate in the phosphoric acid medium with ferroin as catalyst at 31-degrees-C. It has been found that the t(in) (time of initiation) and t(p) (time period) of oscillations decrease with the increase in the concentration of acetone. |
