dc.description.abstractThe formation constants of the adducts, formed between square-planar nickel (II) di-o-tolyl-carbazonate and organic nitrogen bases, have been obtained from spectrophotometric measurements. The stability of the adducts has been examined to understand the effect of nitrogen donor in different structural settings in adduct formation. The results have been discussed in terms of the basicity and steric factors of the various bases.en_US
