Abstract: The effect of BGA as potent bio-fertilizer on paddy solely and also its combined effect with cowdung and chemical fertilizer (NPK) was investigated. Algalization enhances the overall growth of paddy. It is found to enhance all the morphological and biochemical characters such as proteins, carbohydrates, total nitrogen content, net grain yield and biomass of the paddy. The economics of the fertilizer and grain yield has also been studied.
