dc.description.abstractA novel 5-(2', 5' -disubstituted l'H-indol-3'-yl)-3-(2"H-Chromen- 2"-one-3"-yl) 4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazoles 2ad, 1-acetyl 5-(2', 5'-disubstituted 1'H-indol-3'-yl)-3-(2"H-Chromen-2"-one-3"-yl) 4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazoles 3a-d, 1phenyl-5-(2', 5'-disubstituted 1'H-indol-3'-yl)-3-(2"H-Chromen-2"-one-3"-yl) 4,5-dihydro-lH-pyrazoles 4a-d and 5(2', 5'-disubstituted 1'H-indol-3'-yl)-3- (2"H-Chromen-2"-one-3"-yl) 4,5-dihydroisoxazoles 5a-d have been prepared by the cyclocondensation of Chalcones la-d with hydroxylaminehydrochloride, hydrazinehydrate and phenylhydrazine respectively. Synthesised compounds have been characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectral data.en_US
