Effect of different growth regulators and their concentration on callus formation and organogenesis in various explants and callus was studied in mung bean [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek. 2,4-D and NAA alone or in combination with Kn supported callus induction and further growth. 2,4-D proved better than NAA and addition of Kn at 4.6 (?M/L) further enhanced the growth of callus. Organogenesis was obtained from callus, shoot tip and cotyledonary node explants on BAP medium.en_US
