Abstract: Complexes of Ti'(IV) and TiO (II) with Schiff bases of 2, 2' - dihydroxychalkones and ethylene diamine have been prepared. These complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectral data. The Schiff bases show tetradentate behaviour and form complexes of the type [TiL.Cl2] and [TiCL], where L is a doubly deprotonated ligand.
